Aspire Homes Australia acknowledges Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people as the traditional owners of the nations in which we serve. We give thanks for their Elders and Custodians of every generation and for their care of this land, we call home. We acknowledge the stories of resilience and survival that make up Indigenous Australia, and give thanks for the way in which Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, contribute to the life of this nation.
Aspire Homes Australia was created to address the need for home-like environments and skilled staff in Individual Placement Arrangements.
Our mission is to provide a home-like model that creates a safe and predictable environment with individually tailored supports and therapeutically informed care.
We offer empathy, compassion and nurture to children and young people while providing them with therapeutic care and, when the time comes, with considerate exit planning.
Our managers hold extensive experience in the out-of-home sector, and we know that high quality care begins with relationship. Whether it is for a day, a week or a month, we actively engage with children and young people and their carers and guardians to create an individual care experience.
We Implement therapeutically evidenced support strategies and deliver goals set out in the child or young person’s case plan, behaviour support plan and leaving care plan.
We recruit experienced care team members who hold the appropriate checks and clearances. We provide ongoing support, professional development mentoring and training.
We provide environments that are safe, secure and feel like a home and we encourage children and young people to contribute
to their spaces.
We work collaboratively with Department of Communities and Justice, service providers, family and extended family members where appropriate. We know this assists to improve outcomes for children and young people.
Our approach to Therapeutic Residential Care is to provide an individually tailored approach to children and young people in statutory Out-of-Home Care who have been affected by adverse childhood experiences. We focus on creating a safe and healing environment that addresses the unique emotional, psychological, physical, cultural and social needs of each individual.
